Oil
Prior to the 1990s engine oil contained higher level of Zinc that prevented wear on flat-tappet camshafts. Key is to find an engine oil with higher levels of ZDDP (Zinc).

According to RockAuto the correct WIX filter part number is WIX 51049 or Fram PH25
Alternatives:
Interesting because it lists WIX alternatives as 51258, not 51049. Napa is NAPA 1258
Looking at this one, the Napa is 1049
I ended up purchasing a NAPA 1049. However, could not install as it was long and wouldn’t clear the transmission lines. a NAPA 1258 fits just fine.
The 1049 has a height of 5.178 in https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/FIL1049
The 1258 has a height of 4.338 https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/FIL1258
